Journey to Healing
If I knew how important it is to heal, I would of submitted myself to healing sooner. Have you ever submitted yourself to pain for so long? You forget how to submit yourself to love. I am referring to self love, self worth. It's so hard to forgive others whom have hurt you, not only that, but looking in the mirror, and forgiving yourself. The mistakes you made are lessons learned, which will make you grow as a person, as a human being.
The biggest part of healing is stop playing the victim, and blaming others. We all have to take accountability for our own actions. Strong individuals are able to stand in their own truth. No matter how raw and ugly it may be, you have to embrace it. It gets you so much closer to healing. Let go of the past just bury it, leave it buried. This is how you seek peace.
I know we all wish we had a memory chip in our brain. That we could take out, and erase all the hurt and pain away. We all want to be sound and healthy again. Healing takes time, it's not a over night thing.
I read this article and it stated:
"In order to heal emotional pain, you need to invite it up to our conscious awareness. We need to care enough about ourselves, to spend time with ourselves, looking within and truly being with ourselves as we are. When you do this you can discover a infinite source of emotional support, and well being that is always available to you from within."
You are in control of your own healing. You have to get to know you all over again to transform into this new peaceful person. Sometimes you have to disconnect, and enjoy your own company. Sometimes you have to be your own support, your own cheerleader. One thing about my journey to healing. You have to change your thought pattern. There’s always a way to change your negative thoughts into something healthier. I certainly do not let things or humans bother me anymore. I have found peace in my soul, peace within the ones who truly love me, my family.
Good luck to you on your journey of healing.
I am still on my path of healing, there are times I may lose my way, but I will eventually find my way back on that path!
